Best Max Damage Build for Druid in Diablo 4

Diablo IV

Druid Weapon Diablo 4

Druid in Diablo 4(Diablo Iv) is one of those classes that might take a while to level up, but when you do, they become ridiculously overpowered.

Druid is the class you should go for if you need a bit of everything. You can play like the Sorcerer by commanding the elements of nature and letting your companions do all the work as a Necromancer would with his minions.

Today’s guide will teach us about the best build for Druid in Diablo 4 with the best crowd control and the highest damage potential.

Druid Skill Tree Guide in Diablo 4:

The Druid is one of the game’s top-tier classes, and there could be several builds to experiment with.

The one that proved the most effective would be his Companion-Tornado build, which allows maximum damage.

Here are the skills you would need:

Basic Skills:

  • Storm Strike(Rank 1)+ Enhanced+ Fierce– It does 20% damage to the enemy and then chains to a maximum of 3 enemies dealing 20% less damage each time it chains.
  • You also receive a 25% Damage Reduction for 3 seconds after dealing damage with the Storm Strike.
  • The Enhanced version gives you a 15% chance of Immobilizing all enemies, while the Fierce one gives you a 50% chance to make enemies Vulnerable for 3 seconds.

Core Skills:

  • Tornado (Rank 5) + Enhanced + Primal – You can conjure a tornado with 49% damage. It is an excellent skill for crowd control. The Enhanced version gives you a 20% chance of casting an additional Tornado. The Primal Tornado slows enemies that it damages by 8% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 40%.
  • Heart of the Wild (Rank 1)Maximum Spirit is increased by 3%
  • Abandunce(Rank 3) – Basic Skills generate 18% more Spirit.
  • Wild Impulses (Rank3) – Your Core skills consume 9% more Spirit but deal 15% more damage. This makes our Tornado even stronger.

Defensive Skills:

  • Earthen Bulwark (Rank 3) + Enhanced + Innate– You will be surrounded by a Rock-like Barrier that will absorb 54% of your Base Life in damage.
  • The more you Base Life, the more damage it will help you absorb. The Enhanced version makes you Unstoppable while active.
  • The Innate version sends out rock shrapnels outwards as the barrier is destroyed or expires, damaging enemies.
  • Ancestral Fortitude (Rank 3) – Increases your Non-Physical Resistances by 10%.

Companion Skills:

  • Wolves(Rank3) + Enhanced + Brutal – You can summon 2 Wolves that will bite the enemy for 9% damage or direct them to leap on an enemy and deal 132% damage.
  • In the Enhanced version, the wolves deal 20% more damage to enemies that are Stunned, Immobilized, Slowed, or Poisoned. The Brutal Wolves would get a boost to Attack Speed by 20% for 3 seconds when you Critically Strike an enemy.
  • Poison Creeper(Rank 5) + Enhanced + Ferocious -A poison creeper emerges from the ground every 7 seconds and deals 50% Poisoning Damage to enemies in an area.
  • The Vines strangle enemies, immobilizing them for 2 seconds and dealing 126% Poisoning Damage over 2 seconds.
  • The Enhanced version increases the Immobilize duration for 1 second. The Ferocious version increases the active Poisoning duration by 3 seconds.

This will work well with the Enhanced Wolves as they damage Immobilized and Poisoned enemies more. The Poison Creepers and Wolves work as a team dealing an insane amount of damage on enemies and clearing out hordes in seconds.

  • Ravens(Rank 1) + Enhanced + Brutal – One Raven flies above the enemies and periodically attacks them for 13% damage every 5 seconds.
  • The Enhanced version increases the Critical Strike Chance by 6% when a Raven hits an enemy. The Brutal version adds two more Ravens.
  • Call of the Wild (Rank 3) – Your Companion Skills do 30% bonus damage. This Passive is extremely important for a Companion build.

Wrath Skills:

  • Neurotoxin (Rank 1) – Poisoned enemies are Slowed by 8%.
  • Envenom (Rank 3) – Poisoned enemies take 30% more Critical Strike Damage.

Ultimate Skills:

Since we are doing a Companion Build, we won’t have any particular Ultimate Skill. However, we would be picking up a few Passives from this section.

  • Natural Disaster (Rank 2) – Earth Skills do 8% more damage to Vulnerable enemies, while Storm Skills do 8% more damage to Stunned, Immobilized, or Knocked Back enemies.
  • This will make your Earthen Bulwark and Tornadoes stronger.
  • Defiance (Rank 3) – Nature Magic deals 12% more damage to Elites.
  • Circle of Life (Rank 3) – Nature Magic Skill consumes Spirit Heal for you for 3% of your Maximum Life.
  • Resonance (Rank 3) – Nature Magic Skills deal 6% increased damage.
  • It gets Tripled if an Earth Skill is the next skill cast after a Storm Skill or Storm Skill after an Earth Skill. Be sure to cast Earthen Bulwark after Tornado or vice versa.

Key Passives

  • Perfect Storm – Storm Skills that we cast grant us 1 Spirit and do 15% more damage to Immobilized, Vulnerable, or Slowed enemies.

Spirit Boons:

  • Eagle – Give 25 Offerings to the Eagle and get Scythe Talons that give you a 5% increased Critical Strike Chance.
  • Wolf – Give 25 Offerings to the Wolf and get Packleader which gives you a 20% chance of Resetting the Cooldowns of your Companion Skills when you get a deal Critical Strike.
  • Snake – Give 100 Offerings to the Snake and get Obsidian Slam. Every 10th kill will make your next Earth Skill Overpower. So when the Earthen Bulwark barrier shatters, it deals a lot of damage to the enemies.

These are the Spirit Boons you pick up initially. As the game progresses, you will have the chance to pick up more.

Take Energize under the Wolf bond, as it gives a 15% chance to restore 10 Spirit when you deal damage. There are a lot of other Boons you can take. Just make sure it benefits your Nature, Storm, and Earth Skills.

Aspects for Druid:

  • The aspect of Mending Stone (Amulet) increases your Earthen Bulwark timing by 6 seconds. Also, killing an enemy with an Earth Skill replenishes 51-102 of your active Earthen Bulwarks Barrier.
  • Aspect of the Umbral (Ring 1) – It restores 1-4 of your Primary Resources when you crowd control an enemy. It is an excellent way to gain back Spirit.
  • Shepherd’s Aspect (Ring 2) – Core Skill deals additional 6-8% damage for each active Companion you have. So if you have two companions on the battlefield, you get a 12-16% damage boost on your Tornado.

This build will take Level 50 and 10 Renown to complete.

Try not to max out the passives the moment you unlock them. Get as many skills as possible first and rank up skills and passives only when you have to move to the next block.

The build focuses on strengthening your Tornado and Companions, which can easily crowd-control enemies.

Every skill and passive in this build will work as a unit with every other skill. Overall, this build can consistently give you the most significant damage to the character.
