LEGO Fortnite: Can You Build Multiple Villages?

LEGO Fortnite

Around a week into my LEGO Fortnite journey, I had mastered the game’s mechanics, constructed a thriving village with happy villagers, and was on the verge of reaching the max level. However, during my extensive resource-hunting adventures across different biomes, a thought struck me: could I build a new base without sacrificing my original one? If you’ve found yourself pondering the same question, you’re in the right place to clear up any doubts!

Can You Have More Than 1 Village in LEGO Fortnite?

The answer is a resounding YES! Not only does the game allow building more than one base, but it’s actually recommended that you expand beyond a single village during your playthrough.

Why, you ask? Let’s break it down:

  • More Companions: Having multiple villages means more space for new villagers and companions. The game limits each village to a maximum of 5 villagers, making it a compelling reason to build at least one village for each biome, considering there’s a 15-villager limit across the server.
  • Unlock New Buildings: Each biome features a unique set of buildings that you can unlock by upgrading the village square in that specific biome. For instance, upgrading a village square in the Frostlands biome opens the door to constructing the Shogun Palace structures.
  • More Efficient Farming: Setting up a village in the area where you spend most of your time is a smart move. For example, if you anticipate farming Obsidian or Copper extensively in the next few days, establish a base in the Dry Valley biome. This not only speeds up your progress recovery if you die but also minimizes the distance between your workstations and farming spots.
