Palworld: How to Breed Anubis

Palworld

In Palworld, Anubis (Paldeck#100) stands out as a formidable Ground-type Pal, boasting both exceptional working and combat capabilities. It’s the only Pal with an impressive 4 points in Handiwork. While tackling a Level 47 Alpha Anubis in the desert can prove to be a tough fight, there’s a more accessible way to add this powerhouse to your party – breeding!

If you’ve been pondering over how to add Anubis to your party, I’ve got the exact parent combinations you need to breed one yourself in your Palworld base—no matter your level!

How to Get Anubis in Palworld

Given Palworld’s breeding algorithm, more than a few parent combinations can yield Anubis as an offspring. Here are four different combinations of Pals that are easier to find early in the game:

Parent 1 Parent 2
Incineram Surfent
Bushi Penking/Azurobe
Vanwyrm Kingpaca/Azurobe
Arsox Quivern

If you’re not familiar with the intricacies of the breeding mechanic in Palworld, this section will bring you up to speed. Let’s take the example of the first combination: Incineram (Paldeck#40) and Surfent (Paldeck#65).

To acquire the Huge Rocky Egg that hatches an Anubis, you first need a Breeding Farm in your base, which is unlockable from the Technology tab at Level 19. Once the farm is set up, head to the regions marked on the map below to catch a few Incineram and Surfent pals. Make sure you have both a female and a male to initiate the breeding process!

Note: Two parent Pals can pass down their passive skills to their offspring, so catch as many as needed to acquire your desired combat/working perks!

  • Surfent (Anubis Parent 2) location in Palworld

Return to your base, interact with the Palbox, deploy your selected parents, and assign them to the breeding farm by placing them inside one by one. Start the breeding process by adding a Cake to the farm’s storage box and patiently wait till the Huge Rocky Egg is hatched.

Once the egg is produced, place it inside an Egg Incubator and allow it to fully incubate. You can speed up the process by providing the necessary warmth (place campfires/burners near it), reducing the Huge Rocky Egg’s incubation time to an hour at its ideal temperature.
