Picture of Mattias, the Tiefling merchant who sells a pair of Evasive Shoes in Baldur's Gate 3.

To get your hands (or rather, feet) on the Evasive Shoes, you’ll need to purchase a pair from Mattis at the Last Light Inn during Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3.

Mattis is the Tiefling (red-skinned) child you first interact with in Act 1. To meet him at the Last Light Inn in Act 2, you must have chosen to save the Tieflings during the Act 1 campaign, and Mattis must have survived Act 1.

With these prerequisites met, locate Mattis near a table inside the inn, just to the left of the entrance. He’ll gladly sell you the coveted Evasive Shoes.
