How to Get Malachite in LEGO Fortnite
Malachite can be found atop the ice caps in the Frostlands biome. Look for mountains that appear more “icy” than “snowy” and build your way up to the summit; this is the area where you’ll find the most number of Malachite ores. To break the nodes and extract the Malachite, you’ll need to wield an Epic (Purple-quality) Pickaxe, so make sure to craft one if you haven’t already!
As seen in the screenshot above, Malachite ores manifest in bright green crystals, akin to what you’d expect from Emerald. Given that you’re venturing into arguably the most challenging of the three biomes, preparation is key. Equip Inner Fire Charms and make a few Spicy Burgers ahead of your journey to stave off the extreme cold and avoid frostbite!
Once you’ve gathered enough Malachite, return to your village and use a Stone Breaker to process the raw Malachite into Malachite Slabs. These slabs are the key ingredient in crafting various unique building materials and high-tier weapons:
