Palworld: How to Breed Grizzbolt

Palworld

In Palworld, Grizzbolt (Paldeck#103) stands out as a formidable Electric-type Pal, showcasing impressive combat abilities and practical working capabilities. While you encounter Grizzbolt in the ‘Zoe & Grizzbolt’ biome boss battle at the Rayne Syndicate Tower during the tutorial’s final step, the game doesn’t allow you to capture him there.

If you’re eager to add Grizzbolt to your party, I’ve got the precise parent combination you need to breed one yourself at your Palworld base!

How to Get Grizzbolt in Palworld

As the first biome boss in the game, Grizzbolt is a unique category Pal that can be obtained as an offspring through a specific combination of a female and a male:

  • Mossanda (Paldeck#033) and
  • Rayhound (Paldeck#060).

No other combination of parent Pals will produce a Grizzbolt egg! If you’re not yet familiar with the breeding mechanic in Palworld, this section will bring you up to speed.

To get your hands on the ‘Huge Electric Egg’ that hatches into a Grizzbolt, you must first have a Breeding Farm in your base, unlockable from the Technology tab at Level 19. Once the farm is set up, venture to the regions marked on the map below to catch yourself some Mossandas and Rayhounds. Ensure you have both a female and a male to initiate the breeding process.

Note: Two parent Pals can pass down their passive skills to their offspring, so catch as many as needed to acquire your desired combat/working perks!

  • Mossanda (Grizzbolt Parent 1) location in Palworld
  • Rayhound (Grizzbolt Parent 2) location in Palworld

Return to your base, interact with the Palbox, deploy your chosen parents, and assign them to the breeding farm by manually placing them inside one by one. Initiate the breeding process by adding a Cake to the farm’s storage box and patiently wait until the Huge Electric Egg is produced.

Now, add the egg to your inventory, place it inside an Egg Incubator and patiently wait out the timer for full incubation. You can speed up the process by providing the necessary warmth to the egg, reducing the incubation time for a ‘Huge Egg’ to approximately an hour at its ideal temperature!
