Hogwarts Legacy is the name of the upcoming fantasy action RPG set in the magical Harry Potter universe. With the game’s release date only a few weeks away, it’s hardly surprising that the anticipation around it is at an all-time high. However, one thing fans don’t need to be anxious about is the Sorting Ceremony which, if you have watched the movies or read the books, you know was a stressful event!
The official Wizarding World website offers a Sorting Ceremony quiz that you can complete right now to get sorted into a Hogwarts House ahead of the game’s release, and we’re here to guide you through it. And don’t worry! The House you get assigned to here will carry over to the game once your accounts are linked, so you won’t have to pick one again when you start playing.
How to Get Sorted Into Your House Early in Hogwarts Legacy
Here’s how you can get sorted into the Hogwarts Legacy House you belong to:
STEP 1: Create an account on the Wizarding World website and log in.
STEP 2: After signing in, you’ll be redirected to the ‘Sorting Intro‘ page, where you may take various quizzes to determine your Hogwarts House and choose your Patronus and Wand. Click on the ‘+’ button above ‘HOUSE.’
STEP 3: Click on the ‘GET SORTED NOW’ to start with the Sorting Hat’s quiz. This quiz is essentially a personality questionnaire that will decide which House you belong to by evaluating your answer to each question and scenario.
STEP 4: After completing the quiz, you will be greeted by the ‘House Page,’ where you can learn more about your new House.
STEP 5: If you are content with the Sorting Hat’s decision, you can also take the Patronus quiz and get the Elder Wand by taking the Wand quiz.
STEP 6: Finally, connect your Wizarding World account to your WB Games account (register if you haven’t already) to ensure that your House carries over to the game.
If you are not satisfied with the House that you got placed in, you can always delete your account from the Profile Settings and keep retaking the quiz until you are sorted into your preferred House, whether it be Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff. Hogwarts Legacy will also allow you to select your House, but if you choose not to link your WB Games and Wizarding World account, you will miss out on the exclusive rewards that come with it!
Hogwarts Legacy is available for pre-order now and is scheduled for release on February 10, 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, April 4, 2023 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and July 25, 2023 on Nintendo Switch.
