Miasmite is a valuable resource in Dragon’s Dogma 2 (DD2), crucial for upgrading equipment and advancing certain quests like ‘Saint of the Slums.’ Here’s where to find it and how to make the most of it in your DD2 adventures!

Miasmite is primarily obtained by defeating Phantoms, spectral enemies that appear only during the night. You’ll usually find these ghostly roam the forest areas in groups, and have the ability to vanish and reappear unpredictably during combat.

The map below highlights two prime early-game locations where Phantoms frequently spawn. Given their elusive nature and swift movements, it’s advisable to have a Mage in your party to effectively deal with them from a distance.


How to Use Miasmite in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Miasmite serves as a crucial component for enhancing equipment, particularly for upgrading gear suited for Sorcerer and Mage vocations. These enhancements can be performed at either an Armory or a Smithy, commonly found in settlements and cities such as Vernworth or Melve.

Additionally, you’ll need to procure three (3) units of Miasmite to progress in the Saint of the Slums quest, which involves aiding Lady Elena.
